Born into an artist's home in Brooklyn, NY, Mara Capps gleaned an appreciation for all aspects of beauty from her father's sculptures and her mother's deep knowledge of art history.

Her early education in the arts eventually led to a BFA in sculpture at VCU, the number one program in the nation. Following her degree, Mara continued her studies at Makeup Artist's Studio where she developed a passion for makeup and special FX.

In 2007, Mara moved to NYC to pursue a fruitful career in beauty, building a dedicated and impressive clientele. Having reached the top of her industry in less than a decade, we can only expect greatness from Mara's future artistic endeavors.
